I have been a national park ranger for about a decade.
I joined the National Park Service, because I was honestly hoping to make a difference.
I think it is pressing to save the national parks plus I wanted to be a true part of the solution instead of the complication. I joined the Park Service as a ranger. I cleaned up leaves plus helped get the parks prepared for the busy season when tourists would come to visit! Eventually I moved up the ladder plus became a ranger employer. Then I was promoted to the position of lead forest ranger in the whole park. I am consistently on patrol. I drive up plus down the mountain in my cruiser, checking out for potential concerns that can happen. I had to kick a few people out of the park a couple of nights ago plus it was the first time I ever felt miserable plus infuriated with someone. I came across the hikers plus they didn’t hear me coming up. They were smoking a marijuana joint. Marijuana is legal in this state, but every one of us have immense signs all over the park that state no marijuana or smoking is permitted in the park. Forest fires are an immense problem. When the people heard my footsteps, they flipped the remainder of the marijuana joint into the woods so they would not actually get caught. I made the gentlemen search through the brush plus the leaves for the marijuana joint after that. It could have caused a tremendous forest fire. I cannot actually recall a time when I have felt more miserable than I did at that particular moment.
