Switching over to edibles

I live in an apartment building downtown.

It’s an old one, pretty small, four stories with about a hundred residents.

There is a massive atrium in the center of the building, which was designed as a community area. During the COVID quarantine, when so many of us were stuck in the building, that atrium became a great place to get together. It was big enough that we could still socially distance, but hang out. A few of us started a little band, and would have jam sessions while we smoked cannabis in the atrium. People liked the music, and we got no noise complaints, but many folks were not as cool with cannabis, so we did get some smoking complaints. After a little brainstorming session, Jesse suggested that we make a big pan of pot brownies and instead of smoking out, we could use edibles before we jammed. Before this I was not very experienced with any kind of cannabis edibles, but after that first pot brownie I was a believer! One fat chunk of pot brownie gave me all the benefits of cannabis – I was stoned, I felt nice and relaxed and ready to play. At the same time, there were none of the drawbacks associated with smoking cannabis – no coughing, no red eyes, and no smell! After that we jammed a lot more, because we could use as much cannabis as we wanted and no one was the wiser. I will say that without having cannabis edibles to relax me, jamming with these people was not nearly as much fun.
