It wasn’t nearly as hard to figure out how to get my medical marijuana card as I thought it was going to be.
I guess when this state passed the medical marijuana laws, I was under the impression that it was tough to get through the cannabis rules. That was not the case for me. Once I sort of got my head back on straight after my MS diagnosis, I got to researching the medical marijuana benefits for MS. And that led me to attend a cannabis dispensary event where I learned even more from those treating MS with cannabis products. This was so helpful to just be around people who were managing their MS and they were smiling. None of those people pretended MS didn’t have a serious impact on their lives. But they were also very forthcoming about the help they received from cannabis products. Well, that was enough for me and I got straight to navigating the cannabis regulations. Like I said, it wasn’t as tough as I thought it was going to be. My primary doctor was really helpful as well so I was able to get access to the legal weed store in like just over a month. The results that I have seen since beginning treatment with cannabis flower products have been really impressive. I’m much less stiff and don’t deal with nearly as much muscle spasm. It’s really improved my life from a mindset perspective as well. I’m far more positive and committed to finding a new normal. That may be one of the most valuable results from using medical marijuana.
