Wow, the cannabis dispensary sure has changed

When medical marijuana finally was legalized out west some 25 years ago, I was part of that movement.

Marijuana legalization was a unquestionably deep passion for me. I had watched our dad needlessly suffer through cancer because there was no legal access for him to get marijuana products that would have helped. We were able to get some cannabis for dad buy the THC satisfied and the marijuana grower were unknown and it just wasn’t that good. From then on, I have really been a large proponent of cannabis. Yet, that was a long time ago and a lot has changed both in our life and in the world. Once I did our part to see that medical marijuana was passed, our focus in life shifted. Suddenly, there was a job and a family to consider. I don’t regret the way our life went but it sure took me a long way from those first cannabis dispensaries. The first cannabis dispensary I went in was little more that a tiny store front with unquestionably few choices of marijuana for sale. I assume there might have been 3 or 4 sativa products to choose from and about the same amount of indica strains for sale. So when the state I live in now legalized recreational marijuana, I wanted to see what it was all about. And what I saw in that cannabis dispensary was a far cry from that first one. The selection of marijuana for sale was nearly endless. I was astounded out how much there was to choose from. I walked out with a variety of cannabis products that afternoon. And I care about all our trips to the local cannabis spot since.
