I recently found out that the owner of the cannabis dispensary that I manage is going to shut down the lounge for 3 months while they labor on construction. I told the owner that I didn’t think it was a superb method to shut down the line for three weeks, because the room is consistently packed with customers. A lot of our customers recognizably come to this cannabis dispensary, because of the lounge. It gives people a place to sit & consume marijuana. Only a handful of dispensaries in the city have a lounge section & we are the only place by the beach, and when I spoke with the owner, she told me that the fluctuations were necessary due to a concern with the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. The air duct & the method needed to be changed, then since they were going to take care of that, it is the perfect time to make construction fluctuations as well. The owner has plans to redo the flooring & knock down some walls to make the space even greater. I think the new space is going to be amazing, however I don’t feel how several customers we will lose in the meantime. I think a month of construction is adequate, however ninety afternoons is too long to have the lounge shut down. The dispensary will lose sales if we continue with the plans. I’ve been working here for three years & I really wish the owner would take my opinion more seriously. I feel what goes on from afternoon to afternoon & I feel the customers that visit our shop.
